I’ll admit it: I have been slacking off around here. Never fear! Penumbral Connections is close to my heart as ever. But things have been busy.

One of the places I have been putting my energy, aside from letting it evaporate from my skin while I lay around doing nothing, is designing another blog. Sorry you had to find out this way, baby, but I’ve been two-timing you.

I mentioned Matt’s nascent blog a couple of weeks ago, and it is finally up and running. It will feature Matt’s delightfully angry and well-informed rants, as well as truth-nuggets from a variety of other contributors, including such established bloggers as yours truly and Her Majesty the Queen of England. The overarching theme is politicized cultural critique, with an eye towards the US of A. There might also be some music/podcast content in the future.
